Indie actress Sarah Lassez has her roots deeply embedded in Montmartre where her great grandparents were celebrated painters of the "Midnight in Paris" era. Her grandfather- a brilliant but troubled musician- composed for Edith Piaf who asked him to be her personal accompanist though he refused. Sarah channels her family history accompanied by the soulful Brother Sal, infusing new life into classics by Piaf, Aznavour, Gainsbourg, Josephine Baker, Trenet, Vian and others. Her solo debut EP "Paris in Tears" of original songs, was released May 12, 2017.
